France does not deserve US support based on their recent choices and very negative views of Americans.

Actually, France won 8 years ago, so you might want to rethink that statement. My husband was cheering for France. I think penalties are a crappy way to lose a game, frankly.

I was rutting for Italy but I think part of them winning had to do because of Zinadine Zedane's stupidity he brought his teammates morale down.
