Hope your day in Ada, OK is going great!

I do not know about the GPs who accept Humana plan benefits where you live--but I can tell you that if you live in Oklahoma-- or anywhere in the US or one of its territories, there are professionals not far from where you are who can help you get this information or tell you what to do to get it --the folks at your Area Agency on Aging.

Area Agencies on Aging are one of the best kept secrets around for folks who need information about consumer issues and Medicare Part D . They work with a lot of seniors everyday, so they are great resources who probably know the "scoop" on the different plans. (And they are not trying to sell you anything!) You can call toll-free 1-800-677-1116 to find how to contact the one serving you. Each Area Agency on Aging has professionals available to research an answer questions like this one. You will most likely find the people there friendly and very helpful.

The area agency serving you, Southern Oklahoma Division on Aging (I think) is located in Durant. The phone number to try is
580-920-1388. Ask to speak to someone who handles "Information and referral."

If you do contact your local Area Agency on Aging and like the help that they give you, let your local county officials and your folks in Congress know. Area Agencies on Aging don't have big budgets for advertising!

Hope this helps! Good Luck!
