The easiest way is to get the loan from someplace where you have already established good credit. I have no idea what your credit score is, and that important, but if you have a credit union at work, or a long relationship with a bank, that is a good place to start. If you have a mortgage on your house, you could consider a home equity loan from your mortgage company. Just don't borrow "over your head". Good Luck.

I have yet to find a truely painless loan. If you have a 401K, you can borrow against that fairly easily. Otherwise, if you find a painless loan, I'd love to hear about it.

Ask family or friends with good credit to give you a piece of the line of credit. It works well, but if they're not close relatives, they won't agree to it. That is your best bet. On the other hand, get a good VISA :P.
