The average size in the UK is a 16. I think that each person needs to feel happy with themselves not worry about what the average is or what the air-brushed models look like.
There is no perfect size. Confident women look best!

There isnt a size that looks best. The average size for women these days is 16-18. I believe the more curves the better. Im a size 18, but Im also very tall. I guess that yes sizes 10-14 may look slimming but that doesnt mean that you will look any sexier or more perfect. It's all about self-esteem and confidence, if you have loads of that then it wont matter what size or shape you are!

the average size in the uk is a 16 im a 14 at the moment but hate it i prefer to be a size 8-10 which i used to be until i had my children i do not feel attractive bein the size i am as i no i look so much better when im slim.

The avaerage size of a woman in the Uk is between a size 14-16. And from a womans point of view I think women look so much better and healthier between a 10-14.

Well the way in which we are going is more on the curvatious side. I am 14/16 and i look good not out of proportion with the rest of my body and i guess there are many variations on build and shape we all look best as we are.
I would say average size of a lady would be an acceptable 14

the average size of the UK woman is 16, although nobody 'looks best', we are all individuals, and as long as we look after ourselves health wise, size shouldn't come into it. Every woman is shaped differently. Not all size 12 women look the same.

It depends on the person and their height and BMI and whether they are small boned or large boned. As an average, I would say a nice 12-14 (which funnily enough is what I am!) is best! I am trying to lose weight though as I can't fit into my normal clothes at the minute which are 12's, confidence is sexy no matter what weight or dress size you are!

I'm a size 12 (UK) and ten stone which I feel is just right. When I met my husband I was 9 stone and too skinny. Having had 2 children in the past 3 years I'm now at a weight which I feel comfortable with, so judge me all you want, I don't care!

I think size 10 is perfect.I am 12 now , but I want to go back to my old size, which was 10.
