Since they feel that they are "right", there is no need for an open dialogue, so people should shut up and let them rule....I mean, govern.

First of all, most conservatives wouldn't mind if BOTH the Republican Party AND the Constitutiion Party had large representations in the government (just so long as we didn't have to deal with those pesky Democrats anymore). Also, "Nazi" is short for a German phrase meaning "National Socialist", reflecting the fact that German Catholics and Lutherans who felt destitute and downtrodden after losing World War One were given a chance to blame the self-proclaimed "God's Chosen People", the rich Jews, for their problems and set up a totalitarian state, which very few people now acknowldege as having been the left-wing tyranny that it was. These same people and their like-minded successors are now the most-vocal critics of the State of Israel. It's Liberals who hate Democracy.

Actually, us conservatives cleave tightly to the freedoms and liberties and LIMITED GOVERNMENT that was supposed to be our birthright under the Constitution and Bill of Rights. This country was founded as a Republic because even then, history of democracies were not favorable. The Roman Republic collapsed into dictatorships after the plebes found they could vote themselves bread and circuses, destroying the republic and undermining the Senate. Athenian democracy was unwieldy and led to mob rule.
In the US, marxist ideas have infiltrated and caused severe damage. Income tax. Senators no longer chosen by the state governments. Welfare and Social Security and Medi-scam.
No, the Nazis were socialists, and, like all leftists, were pretty much anti-religion (think ACLU).
Conservatives don't want just one party, but we would like sane parties, not lying, hate-filled, anti-American, commie-bastard parties like the Democrats have become.

Why do you like to call names and make stuff up?
Conservatives do not want a one party system any more than most liberals do, I would suggest that more liberals want a one party state.
but how many times is the word "Democracy" used in the Constitution....I will give you a hint, ZERO we are not a democracy nor should we be. We are a republic and that is the best form of government because a true democracy is just a Mob Dictatorship.

Conservatives do not want a one-party system, although it would be nice if the Liberals were a little less off-the-charts wacky. Liberals are the ones closer to the Nazis--they would like the State to control everything.

C'mon you are not being serious are you? Conservatives really don't worry about political parties at all, rather they believe in the wisdom of the US Constitution, checks and balances on government, and individual freedoms. Conservatism, in the accurate Constitutional sense is very, very far from Fascism.
However, if you intended to ask about Republicans as a subset of Conservatives, that's another question altogether.

Nazism was a form of facism, only they added hating the Jews. Republicanism is basically a watered-down form of facism, that is a system with a single strong leader (president) and a support for him stemming from business leaders who own the means of production (the materials we use to make goods for sale). Democratism is a watered-down form of Communism, a system with a government of representatives (Congress) that own the means of production themselves and hand out what everyone needs day by day. Democracy is an attempt to find a compromise between the two extremes (facism and communism) by providing a president and congress that check each other and basically need each other to function, therefore preventing either one from trying to get rid of the other.
We need both sides, but we need compromise between them.

The Democrats had a lock on the government for the better part of 60 years...were they Nazis too for fostering a "one-party" government? Or is that just the moniker you apply to those who oppose you politically?

You are joking right? We like a Republic, not a Democracy, because it is a democracy that gave us segregation and Jim Crow laws, and a Republic that allowed us to overturn those horrible pratices and start anew.
It was the republican party that ended segregation. it was the democrats that stood for segregation.

Conservatives are simply those people that still honor the aristocracy. They don't realize that is what they are doing, but that IS what they do. Things have not, in fact, changed much since biblical times, there are those who have wealth and control armies (or police depts) they offer "protection" to workers, then inslave them. Conservatives BELIEVE they are protecting their religion, their morals and their country.

In a true democracy...the majority rule. That does not leave much for the minority. I don't hate democracy....just prefer a republic.
