Cover it with colorful paper, then wrap a wide ribbon of contrasting color around the can. Glue a large silk flower (like a daisy) onto the ribbon. Keep the plastic lid on the can and slice a hole in it about two inches long.

Cover it with white or colored contact paper(not see-through), then put stickers like sparkly stars on top. Then you could write whatever you want to write with magic markers. Be creative!
