I did runway modeling in my 20s, and they required that we be at least 5' 8". Since I am 5' 10", there was no problem.

It depends. There are runway models that are as short as 5' 7" like Eva Pigford but I'd say you should be at least 5' 8".

Kate Moss was only 5'7", but that is very RARE. I am a religious viewer of America's Next Top Model, and it seems that 5'8" is definitely the shortest they'll tolerate, but if you're at least 5'9" your chances of modeling increase.

Being a model I have come to notice that there is no real "defined height" to walk the ramp. But as you have probably noticed, the big models all around the world are at least 1.78 and taller. does that answer your question?
