i have problems with social studies!
what should i do?

That is different for everyone. The secret is to study and then quiz yourself to see if you remember the information. That should be how you tell instead of how long.

Hello,
The amount of time you should study is depending on what you study and how much time you have. People learn at many different rates. However, if you are looking for a better answer, just study untill you feel like you know all the material and then have someone quiz you about it. If you mess up or freeze study a little more. If you know all the material then study a little more on the basics and small details one last time in the morning of the quiz so you don't forget. Good luck and I hope this answers this question.

Although it depends from person to person....one should atleast study for 5-6 hours a day in the 10th standard.

in 10th what?! grade? and as to how much time, study however much time it takes you to learn the stuff...people learn at different rates, it may take you 2 hours to learn something that might take someone else 1 hour. so study until you learn it

You also have major problems with English, so study that also. There is no set time. Keep at it until you understand it. There is help out there so don't make up silly excuses.
