i got a forum site and i am trying to get people to join it, whats the best way to do that??

The members just wont post!! =(

Well, you should keep a ton of different stuff on the fourm, reasons for people to keep coming back to your site. Also, whatever the fourm is about, premote for it on that website if there is any way that you can. Get members to join to promote, and when they do that, it'll give them more points or something wich can get them to different areas of your fourm?
I don't know, just an idea.

i dont know, what's your site about. im a member of mostly singles/dating scenes. but im intereseted in just about everything. if i find your site interesting, ill join. the dating scene had gotten me no where except frustrated. 3 months @ 25 bux a month, and not a single date.

Work up some good marketing strategies. Then, to get them to stay, make it beneficial to them. Besides the forums, give them free games, weather, a calandar or something that makes them remember to come back.
