counselor and has 80 kids of this age and needs some game ideas. things like uncle sam where kids can run around and have fun. i would really appreciate some suggestions!

I agree with the 1st answer...Red Rover is fun and I have fond memories of playing this as a kid. In case u've never heard of it you put about 100 feet between 2 lines of kids, they hold hands, 1 side calls a name from the other side, that kid then runs and tries to break through the hands, if they get thro they pick 1 kid and take them back with them, if they fail to get thro they stay on that side.
Kickball is also really fun, as well as Dodgeball.

Try Simon Says, how about an age appropriate bingo game? You can get one customized on the web free. Run a talent show. If a kid doesn't think they have a talent they can opt to tell a joke instead.
