They don't hate American freedom. Rather, they feel that the war in Iraq distracts from the actual terrorists (Al Qeada) because nearly our entire armed forces are stuck trying to fix Iraq. Which I believe at one time was true, but the situation in Iraq has now created a terrorist situation to arise there, it is a breeding ground because now the terrorists are bringing in those who feel America is an oppressor that has invaded their country and that they are fighting for their freedom from us. Which unfortunately has made the Iraq war necessary to fight to protect our freedom now, though Bush's personal fight with Saddam made that the reality.
I would also argue that Bush's eavesdropping on Americans is the bigger threat to freedom. While I agree it is extremely helpful in finding terrorists, I don't believe it is limited to finding terrorists, but rather in finding those who are against Bush, whom he will frame later and send to jail when he begins his empire. That is what the liberals are trying to prevent before it is too late.

Liberals? Hatred? American freedom? Excuse me, but why are you posturing yourself for negative attacks? Nobody hates freedom, people simply have different views on what we should be free to do. Liberals, what are liberals? And how can such a word ever be associated with the hatred of freedom. American freedom? That might be the problem as I don't have the slightest idea as to what that might mean. Is it anything like American cheese, or French fries, or Brussels sprouts?
Please remember that the United States was found on the principles of universal freedom and gave no definition to a concept you refer to as American freedom.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
That is a beautiful statement and one the world can be proud of. Please take the time to study the teachings of great American thinkers such as Jefferson, Madison, Franklin, Lincoln, Mason, Paine, and Smith. You will find, that these mean sought universal truths and equality for all, not derisive pigeon-holing. Enlighten yourself, there is a world of deeper understanding.

There is nothing wrong with "American freedom" it is the way in which they insist that everyone elso must conform to their twisted standards. There is a freedom which most the nation do not have
It is a self centred pathetic country which plods around thinking that as long as they are OK then it doesn't matter how many innocent people have to die to prove that point.
The front that is portrayed is a political mirage which ignores the plight of its people. With a plastic president like they have the country needs a wake up call

You know that you should have some gratitude for the fact that Liberals are concerned with your freedoms. Because while you are supporting GWB and waving the flag, we are the ones who made sure you could wave that flag. If your rights are violated we will defend you. Our problem is with the usurping of our rights. If you want to wiretap for terrorists you must go to a Federal judge and get an OK, that's what our Constitution says, not that you can't just that another branch of the government needs to know. Because in their never ending quest for personal happiness, it poses a threat to their care free life style to have to support something that requires fighting to protect.
convenience and comfort. So long as they have both they can point fingers without care.
I like the answer including the phrase "nearly all our armed forces are tied up in iraq" lolololol. Boy i sure rest at night knowing our entire armed forces can barely fill a college roster.

We believe in freedom. The freedom of expression, the freedom of a woman to choose abortion, the freedom of a family to decide to let a terminally ill person die a dignified death, the freedom for gay people to be married just like everyone else, the freedom for gay couples to adopt the unwanted children fathered by irresponsible conservatives knocking up their secretaries, the freedom of seperation of church and state, the freedom life, love, and the pursuit of happiness.

Freedom of the people or freedom of the government? Freedom of participation or freedom for exclusion? Freedom of expression or freedom for intolerance?
Every freedom of one thing translates to a constriction of the other. Right wing agenda castigates dissenters as being hateful, but really who is it that is intolerant? Republicans believe in the sanctity of the structure, but it should be evident, that government that exists for the sake of government is not government of, by, or for the people.
