What is wrong? Any and I mean ANY mechanic should be able to fix it. There is nothing fancy about a bug. There is even an "Idiot's guide to fixing a VW Bug" book. They are very simple cars.

Just go to a classic car restorer. Look in the yellow pages or go to a classic car website for references. I personally know an excellent car restorer but he probably is not located near you. Oh yes, I own a 1967 Pontiac Catalina convertible!
