Where are the best scenic spots to go to in the Travis county area, any where around central Texas? Any really nice scenic places to go? Around Austin?

Fredricksburg is really nice. They have alot of B&B's, places to shop, wineries. It is one of the only cities in TX where you can walk up and down the street shopping and drink a glass of wine or beer. If you are driving to FB from Austin you will go through the Hill Country and can stop at one of the many wineries along the way and get a tour and tasting. The town is a german town that has tried to stay authentic in building style and food fare. Alot of the restaurants brew their own beer.

There is a beautiful wine trail you can do outside Austin toward Fredericksburg. It’s a scenic drive and you can stop at the vineyards and sip wine while looking out over the land. it is gorgeous and an easy day trip.

go to Oasis.or Mt. Bonnell... I always go there in the nights for a ride up the hills. Also try zilker park

Lake Travis is a good place to go to.
