how do i clear the address bar so it doesn't show past web sites accessed?

Go into "Tools"
Click on "Options"
Click on "History"
Change the amount of days kept in records to zero.

Hope that helps you hide the naughty sites from your parents!

if you want to clear forms, like yahoo old searches for example:
Internet Explorer --> Tools --> Internet Explorer --> Content --> Auto-Complete --> Clear Forms --> OK --> OK
