The seal is clean, but it has a pinprick hole at the top. Even when I slam it, I sometimes find it loose when I check it later.

Get some Fairy Liquid / washingliquid on a cloth (no water) and rub it on both seals, the door and the freezer/fridge. all over the rubber part!!

It will then seal. I promise

And when it works i expect a best answer tick!!!

Probably it's mis-aligned. If it's not perfectly level it can twist the hinges & pop to door open.

Also check for any contents (drawers/baskets) near the door.

If it's older, the nylon inserts in the door hingess can wear and it won't close properly.

The door seals are actually slightly MAGNETIC, not 'suction' as some people believe. Try it with a pin or steel ruler.

Needs to be replaced. That seal is essentially magnetic weatherstripping. You can contact the company and get a new seal or try to purchase the stripping at homedepot somewhere. Essentially it has worn out.

While the hole in the seam may contribute to the door popping open I would have it checked for balance(if the fridge and door aren't level then the door won't seat properly)

close both doors, look at the edges to see if they are lined up and level with each other. Check that the drawers are seated and fully in. run your finger around the seal and see if it flexes or os dirty or sticky or ripped or dislodged from its track.

it is prob because of the hole. the same thing happend to mine and i was told it was because it was being opened by people pulling back the seal insted of using the handle. if you ring the manufacturer they can send you a replacement that you can fit easily yourself.

It's just like a woman ... sometimes it's just dying to be slammed.
Probably still a virgin ... turn it into a porn star partner.
