I personally think it looks cheap, unless you are doing some sort of athletics when we are having soccer practice we dont really care and we let it all hang out.

Cover Them Up! Bras are categorized with UNDERwear, and that's exactly where you should keep them, UNDER. No matter how pretty, lacey, glittery, or fancy your bra is, you should always cover it up. It's called class. Even if your boyfriend thinks it's sexy, show some modesty and keep your bra straps under wraps. Leave something to the imagination. They make several different bras and strap combos so that no matter what kind of shirt or dress you're wearing, you can keep what's "behind the scenes" a secret!!

Covered up as much as poss. There are some occasions you can let them show if you've got a nice bra and a top that suits it (which you can wear for your bf), but not normally. Plus guys might think it looks better of you've just got the straps of a vest top round your shoulders not the bra straps as well.

I think it's trashy. Young girls sometimes do it, and you can tell their parents wouldn't let them leave the house in whatever shirt they're wearing without a bra cuz it's way too revealing (or they just don't know any better), and it's like, "Yo, one day they'll be bummed on how trashy they look."
Older women doing it cheap, too. Undergarments aren't made to be seen. I mean, if your wearing a top with a wide collar and your strap shows a little, or once in awhile, that' one thing. But broadcasting that $h!t, like, I left the house with every intention of you being able to see my bra straps, is lame.
Understatement is sexy. Broadcasting anything is a weak way of getting attention. Class is what's up.

No preference from me. I think it's sexier when a girl DOESN'T wear a bra, but there's a fine line between sexy and trashy there.
Then again, if your boyfriend likes to see the straps...then let them show! He's the one that matters!

completely in contract with you - fantastic if the bra is in a colour that suits the strappy accurate, in the different case truly no and sparkling straps look very strange to me. i'm extremely a huge cup length so my bra straps are not from now on quite comfortable so I in many circumstances purchase vest style tops quite than strappy camis - i could not arise with the money for too many distinct colorations of bra besides.

Looks cheap and uber tacky in most cases. It also looks as if you weren't willing to take the time and effort to dress properly, like you don't care about your looks or how others see you.
If the bra matches the clothes (i.e. black straps with black top) and the bra is nice (clean, in good shape, no "fuzzy" things on it), then it looks like you did it on purpose and might pass in certain places (certainly not at work!).

This is one of the biggest things that make me crazy! I hate the bra showing, but there are times when I see it on other girls and think that doesn't look so bad. Don't wear a ugly bra, one of the thin line ones would be okay... or the clear ones

I think they should be hidden most of the time, use a good strapless bra, or if on show they should be very very pretty or see through if you really need the support, I hate ugly grubby bra straps showing, but then anything ugly or grubby shouldn't be on show!

It should be covered up. Its look totally inappropriate to be seen especially in public because a woman's bra is a totally intimate and private thing. Today everyone wants to wear certain articles of clothing just because its considered sexy or attrative. Is that what the world has come to, that we have to dress to please the opposite sex 24/7. Sorry, but I dress for me and my comfort. My partner gets consideration but not as much as myself.

Depending on the bra and the type of shirt you are wearing, it's acceptable. If the bra strap is thin and coordinates with what you are wearing.
