Does anyone know what to do to become an actress? like where can you go?

You can't go anywhere specifically...I mean everyone either goes to Cali or NY but you have to realize that millions and millions of people there have the same dreams.....Its a very very hard industry to break into..you have to have real talent. I would try to get any local acting work in your area and see how things develop from there before you move away to pursue such a difficult goal.

You should get into some acting academy's and do lots of plays to get yourself more experience. You can get discovered by doing plays anywhere. If your still in high school you shoud get into a drama class, they have play competitions and that might just be your shot at one of those competitions. I am an aspiring actress myself and that's what I want to do.

How old are you? My son is living in New York, works a regular job to pay his bills and auditions constantly for acting work - He was heavy into drama throughout his high school years and attended NYU TISCH for his acting degree - so if you are still in high school and your school offers a drama department - get involved - then start planning now for universities as a drama major - Good Luck and God Bless!

Take drama in high school, sign up for drama club and a musical if your school does one.

Find a good drama school by searching http://www.google.com, then major in drama in college, you may also have to goto an acting school and all the wihle get out in the world and make contacts.

If you are really serious about acting then you need to go to a college that offers theatrical schooling. But also it wouldn't hurt to do some local acting.
