Love is a condition or phenomenon of emotional primacy, or absolute value. Love generally includes an emotion of intense attraction to either another person, a place, or thing; and may also include the aspect of caring for or finding identification with those objects, including self-love. Love can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience usually felt by a person for another person. Love is commonly considered impossible to define.
The concept of love, however, is subject to debate. Some deny the existence of love, calling it a recently invented abstraction. Moreover, approximately 13 percent of cultures reportedly have no word for love.[1] Others maintain that love exists but is indefinable; being a quantity which is spiritual, metaphysical, or philosophical in nature. Love is one of the most common themes in art. An unfinished debate about the authenticity of love as other-regard began with Friedrich Nietzsche's charge that love is merely an ideology constructed by the weak to mask "resentment" about their lack of power. Critics of Nietzsche's view find gratuitous his assumptions that self-interest and the "will to power" overshadow all other concerns.

Love is the feeling you get when you see a puppy falling over it's own paws, or when you smell fresh cut grass or the air after a thunder shower. Love is the smell of a newborn baby or the way you feel when your mother tucks you in at night and reads you a story. Love is what you feel when you see your father return home after a hard day's work and hug you and your mother, happy to just be there with you. Love is when your friend is kind to you and you back to your friend. Love is when you watch a movie and enjoy it so much, knowing that everyone who made it gave of their best. Love is a rainbow, the ocean, the beach, sunset, moonlight, music, fresh air, love is when your soulmate walks into a room and you feel complete.

Love is that four letter word which binds not only two bodies...but two families and two SOULS for ever in sorrow and happiness..love is that state in which only one person makes the difficult times easier and the good times great and especial days like these even more wonderful...and that same especial person brings out the best in you..God created LOVE because He knows the value of the heart..
Love makes you understand a complete stranger and makes you live life and at the same time allows you to realise the imporatnce of living and teaches you how to face challenges..

when you are so comfortable with someone they pull a big gunk of hair out of the drain that is clogging the shower, and they still love you.
when you both start saying (and thinking) "we" instead of "me."
when you're so happy with your love, you can't remember your ex-boyfriend's last name.
when they meet your crazy Aunt, your dorky dad and your farty teenage brother with smelly feet, and they still love you.
when you decide to go with your heart and move 300 miles to be with them and think it was the best decision you'd made in a long time.
when they take you to the emergency room when your face is swollen like Will Smith's in "Hitch" and your lips look like Angelina Jolie's and you're covered in hives, and they still love you.
when you're wearing no makeup and haven't brushed your hair and are sweaty from being outside, they still think you are beautiful.
when people tell you that you look healthy, and you feel it too because you are loved.
when they see an awkward-middle-school-phase picture of you with crimped hair, a gap in your teeth and large glasses and think you were cute.
when you are with them you feel that everything will be alright, even when you are broke or your grandfather just passed away.
when your parents are both thrilled for you that you've found each other.
when you feel like you've known the person your entire existence but can't believe you just got to know them. and you wish you could have met them a long time ago.

Love is something which is very beautiful and u can't live without it. Love changes ur life in no time and makes ur world like a heaven. however when it goes, it really hurts and will remain hurting u forever and ever. In short love *****!!

Love is an attitude. Its how we think and act with regards to people, places and things. Love can bring feelings of joy, closeness, completeness. Love can also expose us to pain, ourselves and reality.
I wonder how we "love as though we have never been hurt".
