When you moved into the apartment, was it furnished? Also, what does the contract you signed say about replacement furniture? I'd need to know more to fully answer this question.

Is your apt. a monthly rental or a weekly rental, and how long have you been there and when did u notice the bed bugs? All these questions are important, if u have only been there a short time and noticed the bugs right away (bites) then the apt. could be responsible. I know this cuz i manage an apt. we rent weekly or monthly and have had problems w/ bed bugs and from what the news and the Co. we use said, is that there is an serious problem w/ bed bugs especially in the tourist areas, L.V, Florida, Reno etc.. even in your big Name Hotels, as i was told. Guest or tenants that stay in an infested room/ apt. don't do the procedures that r necessary to get rid of them, like washing all they're belongings (clothing) in hot water. The pest control co.'s do what they need to w/ the apt...furniture carpet and so on, steam cleaning procedure. Bug sprays do not kill them, Hot steam cleaning will. Good luck!

all depends if you can prove that the bedbugs come from there unit, and that you didnt bring them in yourself on a bed, that you already had or that somebody gave to you,if they furnished the furnisher then yes there have to replace it, but once you have bedbugs you cant really get rid of them, the only way to destroy them is that the bed has to be burnt, good luck sweetie.

Unless that is stated in your lease agreement and you are renting the furniture as well, than, no it is your responsibility.
