If you are a werewolf, would you relate to your childhood as a child or a pup?

Child, according to most of books and such, you are not born a werewolf, but become one after a bite.
Now, if you were born of a werewolf, I don't think you would start to change until you hit puberty, you know, all the hormones and stuff. Didn't you ever watch "Teen Wolf" with Micheal J. Fox?

It really depends on which version of lore you subscribe to. Some hold to the old beliefs that one can only become a werewolf by being bitten. While others believe in a more modern day approach of being born as one. The latter, being contingent upon at least one of the parents being a werewolf his/herself.

So, ultimately, you would have to decide which theory you hold with. The former would leave you with a human childhood. The latter would be somewhat of a mix between being a pup and child (depending upon your favorite form).

If you would like more information on the latter (modern) beliefs... you might check out the White Wolf published "Werewolf" role-playing-game, available at most hobby & gaming stores. The whole game is centered around that latter version.

I'm sure that this is more information than you were looking for, but I prefer to over-inform rather than to come across as vague.

Best wishes.

There are theoretically two ways to be come a werewolf. One is to be bitten and therefore cursed, the other is to be born with the curse (either directly into a pack or with a latent "gift" that expresses itself around puberty) . Once you bear the curse, everything is seen through the lens of a werewolf's psyche & pack mentality, meaning that separating the concept of child from that of pup would be difficult at best. Most likely, those who become werewolves later in life have a more human than wolf perspective on their upbringing.

child. though you can be turned into a werewolf as a child. It is possible. you can turn into one at any age if one BITES you.. However, werewolves are unlucky. The get killed if silver is shot into them. They can't touch silver. The process of becoming a werewolf is LYCHANTOPHY. OR LYCHANTHOPY.. either one..
You will turn into a werewolf.. some say at the stroke of 12 , some say when the moonlight touch upon them. They can remember when they murdered someone, but don't know when they turn into one.. they seriously hate Vampires. I think the reason of why the hate silver is because, in silver, there is a chemical that burns them inside.. the chemical reaction between silver and themselves make it fuse and burn.. thats all i know about WEREWOLVES.

Child....unless your parents were werewolves before you were born. Then you'd be a pup.

Actually the term "pup" is offensive to werewolves who see themselves closer to wolves than dogs. Maybe cub?

I think it be whatever transition that you were in while giving birth. I don't remember this coming up in my reading on the subject, though. I guess, ultimately, it would depend on the author. Sounds like a Stephen King type of plot line.

you become a werewolf after you are bitten. that is, if it doesn't decide to kill you. so childhood would be as a child. at least until they attack...
