Why would you want to stop masturbating. It is okay to do it is healthy for you physically, emotionally, and mentally. It is not a sin, and it is very enjoyable. Allow yourself a masturbation session when the urge hits you and do it less as you want. You will find that as you get older and the hormones are less you will masturbate less, when you get married or find a permanent sex partner you will not masturbate at all.

There is nothing wrong with masturbating even more than daily. Mastubation is normal and healthy as long as it's done in private.
You shouldn't feel like you're doing something "wrong or dirty," because you're not.

First, let me ask you: Why do ya wanna stop?
Because people telss ya not to? or because you really wanna stop it?
If it's starting to be an obsession, then try it. Find something else to do. And if you feel you're going to, then stop and think of something else. Try it step by step, it's like quitting tobacco, you cant quit it once and forever, you gotta keep it slow...

I don't think it's the act itself but perhaps your methods. A change of scenery is always a welcome change. Go to your local church or a freeway overpass and indulge. Just need to change your routine a bit. I think you'll be surprised. And shocked.

Keep yourself busy with a hobbie or hang out with friends.

If you keep your mind occupied, you will not be as interested in it.

I am not sure of your reasoning for wanting to stop. Whatever. I am doubtful that you will be successful.
