You really dont want to take it out, apply and put it back on because you can mess up your lipstick or get lipstick IN the hole. The best way would be to use a lip brush. If your piercing isnt fully healed, be careful about getting lipstick in the piercing. I have a nose ring and wear a LOT of make up. I put my foundation on with a brush as well and cover my piercing when I apply my powders. I then spray it with saline solution to make sure its clean.

move the ring to one side then move it to the other. lip rings move pretty easily. It would be silly to take the whole thing out to put lipstick on. The lipstick brush is a good idea too.

Just tilt the ring to the right, apply, then tilt it the left and get that side. I have the same problem, and this way you don't spend money on a brush and you don't irritate the piercing by taking it out so many times.

Would have been a good thought about that idea first.so i guess every time you want to put on lipstick you'll have to take the ring out then in again. .........what a pain.....just get rid of the ring, I'm sure you look pretty without it

short of removing the ring every time, try the kinds of lipstick that you apply with a wand.

INVEST IN A LIPSTICK BRUSH , NOT ONLY WILL IT HELP IT WILL ALSO KEEP YOU FROM GETTING ANY BACTERIA WHERE YOUR RING IS . ALWAYS WASH IT OUT AFTER APPLYING LIPSTICK AND SPRAY WITH ALCOHOL , LET IT AIR DRY (THE BRUSH)
