I think if you are asking the question you know the answer is no. You have the rest of your adult life for sex, enjoy being a 14 year old because there is only one time in your life when you can openly behave like a 14 year old.
If you're feeling sexy that's fine. Explore it in other ways, there are lots which are very enjoyable indeed! But actually having sex is a whole lot more complicated than it's made out to be. Don't let anyone make you feel you should do it. If you 'love' a boy then do all the other stuff young couple can do, but I'd stay away from sex until you're not asking yourself this question any more.
Good luck!

Hi.
You know, it's only natural during puberty that we experience certain sexual urges and desires, followed of course by a need to satisfy them, but that does not necessarily mean we're ready to start having sex. Some 'older' children (13-15), having noticed these feelings, try masturbation as a way of relieving their sexual tension - and this is NOT by any means something to be ashamed of. You're not a bad or dirty person just because you got really excited and couldn't help yourself. That's just normal.
Sex, on the other hand, is much more serious. A quick bit of hand relief for either sex is harmless and guiltless, with no risk of pregnancy, infection or other repercussions, but diving into bed with someone is a very different matter. At you age, be you boy or girl (I know not which you are), sex really isn't a very good idea. As someone else pointed out, you type s*x instead of sex, which suggests you still have quite an immature attitude to sexual behaviour. And if you have that attitude, can you be sure that you will do the right thing? Will you use protection? Will you make sure you know and trust the person you sleep with? Or will you meet up with someone off the Internet or the sibling of a school friend and walk away with chlamydia or worse still (if you happen to be a girl) pregnant?
At fourteen I don't think anyone should have sex, even if they feel they really are ready. For one thing there is no guarantee you are as ready as you think, no matter what feelings you have. And for another, it happens to be illegal.
I hope you act sensibly, for your own sake.

Are you old enough to take care of baby if you get pregnant. Can the potential father financially support a child (the courts will order him to contribute)? Do you want to be forced into a position of whether or not to have an abortion?
I hate to be blunt here, but you can masturbate...you never have to worry about getting pregnant, having a fight with your boyfriend, getting a STD, getting HIV, and you know what makes you feel good.
Wait a bit. You will know when the time is right and you won't have to ask...

I am a 24 year old mother of 4 and started having sex when I was 16. I wanted it but regretted it because it took away more from me than what I was ready for. If you do it please protect yourself because I wouldnt with for a young person like yourself to end up like me. Too much responsibility for your age. Be careful.
I think in your mind you know if you are ready or not but just give it more time, you wont regret waiting.

Research has shown that a person of you age is physically ready for sex but not emotionally.
Wait till you are settled with your emotions, normally 18/19 years old.
Heavy petting may be good for you but will frustrate your fella, so don't go there.
Better to be celibate and if the guy doesn't respect you for that, then he's not the one for you!
As other answers have said, you can please yourself till you are ready for a full blown relationship.

If you feel you have to ask, then most definitely not. Sex isn't just a physical thing, with it comes alot of responsibility, protecting yourself not just from pregnancy but std's also. Then you have the emotional side, there can be many heartbreaks and let downs and at your age that is alot to take on.

Well I would say if you're too shy to even type the word 'sex' then you're not ready.
The legal age of consent is 16, so wait at least a couple more years. And wait for someone you love and who loves you. Never be pressured into having sex, especially not at your age.

NO you are not old enough, you are still a child. You need to wait till you become an adult 18-21 years of age.
