Yes, but it depends on their age and severity of the crime. If family or friends can't teach them honesty and accountability through association, then it's up to you to see they are accountable. It is also against the law to sit back and say nothing. There is a perception called Guilt by Association, where if you hang with a certain type of person you must be just like them. If you're not, do your best to do whats right. You can still stand behind someone who has made a severe error in judgment.

okay first of all if you see a crime committed you are as guilty as they are for not reporting it, and second and of up-most important will your family or best friend turn you in, then decide right from wrong this is what makes you a responsible adult, if you are a tattletale in school how do others treat you, so now i hope i have given you a few things to think about before you snap judgment on others!

It relies upon what the crime became. i do not imagine i'd record it, (except they were plausible to others) yet say I were given called in for wondering, i imagine i'd tell them what I knew. i'm no longer an truly good liar and justice should be served, no remember how a lot i love them. In an proper international, i'd convince them accessible themselves in. large question :)

It depends on how serious the crime is...Ask yourself if you were the victim how would you feel? Then see if you could live with yourself for not turning them in...

yes i would, regardless on the fact it is a friends or family, a person needs to realise there are consequences to the actions they chose to do, this person made the choice to break the law, now they should learn of the consequences
