Tell him the only venue you could get is at a monestry run by homosexual munks and you will all be expected to stay over night.

Seriously though, this is end of his single life and his send off to the rest of his life, give him and all concerned a good time to remember, don't make him feel ill for the big day and enjoy the celebrations to come. Be a mate, get on with it.

It is a big responsibilty, as there are so many people involved. Some can't do a certain date, or pull their faces at a particular plan, or just generally interfere in a negative way. Tell everyone else to butt out, ask your friend what he wants out of it, and keep it simple.

Or fake your own death.

Get married yourself and get them to arrange your own stag party? Or pretend you're having a wedding and get them to do a stag party for you anyway.

Just take up a collection from all the people invited to the wedding and give him the cash on the night, Then he's in control, (for the last time).

Tell him the truth - that you are not as good a mate as he thought you were!

Freindship requires some effort. I just hope that the people you think are your mates are a bit more dependable than you seem to be!

If you are the best man then you can't get out of it. All you can do is simplify the arrangements and if anyone complains offer them the job of organising it.

If you aren't the best man then shift responsibility to whoever is the best man.

You can get out of it by telling the truth, however, why don't you just stick to your word and see it through.

How would you feel if he did this to you?
