I once read someone that an interview is normally over after 5 mins hence the first time you meet the panel or interviewer to the next five minutes it is extremely important.

A firm hand shake is very essential. Stare the person in the eye and if you are shy try this stare at their nose he will think you are staring at his eyes. The recommended dress colours are dark blue, black, grey. When you go to the interview have a briefcase and make sure your portfolio is updated. Smile is your mouth open as it will show confidence. When you sit down, hold your palm together like a praying mode on your lap. If you happen to stand up let your hands be crossed behind as this will show confidence.

Incase you do not know an answer to a question, inform them that you will research it and present it to them the next day early in the morning. Best of all do not forget to carry your original certificates. Good luck in your interview

Be aware of your strong points and link them to the accomplishments you have made in your existing career. If you are afraid that you cant remember what to say, prepare a script before hand and practice in front of the mirror until u know your script inside out. Most important of all: BE CONFIDENT. The fact that you have been shortlisted for the interview already means that the interviewer has decided to give you a chance over the others who are not selected for the interview.

It means explain to the employer why you would be an asset to his company, in other words list for him all the qualifications and talents that you bring as an employee. Give him all the reasons why he should hire you over someone else.
