the clothes don't make the man. you'll often find that most people think along the same lines and are interested in the same things regardless of how they dress.

The clothes you wear don't reflect your personality at all as fashions and styles are what people buy in the stores which makes most people sheep. Colours can reflect how you feel and what mood your in depending on the person and the persons personality. For me if I wear say a black top that makes me feel sexy but if I wear a top which is white I feel like a kid, so the colours you wear does not reflect your personality because you could be a gothic and wear black clothes and people will think your into heavy rock and stuff but in actual fact you could be into RnB.

People will dress in a way to reflect their likes and dislikes and also to conform.
Wearing a football shirt says, I am from here also I like this team. It ties in with our primative desire to belong. Just like when we were in tribes. It says who we are and what we are about.
We all want to belong, whether sporting, musically or in life.
We all judge each other on our appearance, whether we think that we should or not, we still do! We may all say "Don't judge a book by it's cover" but will still walk down the street looking at people thinking "Chav" or "Greebo" etc etc.
I also feel clothes do and can influence our mood. When you feel down we all go for warm comforting clothes to make us feel better.
I know when I put on a smart suit, I feel professional. I would be happier going into a meeting in a nice suit than I would in jeans and a t-shirt.

Look I went through the hippy thing in the 60's and know that you are dressing for effect. Then you are slighted when people are reacting to your clothes. Get over it . Why would you care what people think? If people judge you by your clothes and don't like you they are not the kind of people you want in your life, right?
Be you and be happy.

Well i went through every possible clothes and hair style, (still completely experimenting!), from punk, to raver to goth to glam rock, hippie, etc...and yes people do respond differently according to what you wear, but what really changes is if you walk around with a smile, then what ever you might wear people seem to be far friendlier and respond in a positive way....;-)

Clothes and hair mean nothing to me. Its the light in a person's eyes that I know people by.

because this is what we like . you like dark clothes and wear them ,, i like jeans and a variety of colors for tops . that's the way i am . if you re a teen wearing all black maybe self concisely your rebelling against something if you an adult , well then black makes you look thinner . (LOL) since you dress in all black ask yourself why . clothes are our personality that's how people express themselves . i don't think wearing all black is a crime ,

that just reflects your taste, but, taste is a part of ones personality, thus the two are interconnected. If you give lots of weight to your taste in outfits then your dress sence is a bigger part of your personality.
None the less, people should not jugde on single points of appearence, they should take time to realy meet the person before making judgement ! (hope I helped)

well i don't know about hair showing that, but clothes sure do.. the way u dress shows your personality and who you are.. clothes are a great way to express yourself, and ppl's' first impressions have to do with your clothes also.. colors also show who you are.. wearing black all the time prolly shows your depressed, or your punk/goth.. show add some colors in your wardrobe!!
btw its what YOU think that is important..

Unfortunately, It does, It's human nature to judge people on how thay look. Even if you don't mean to do it, you still do. I regularly wear dark clothes, but I'm a very friendly guy.
