Looking for a new opportunity to grow professionally and personally.

Or

Geographics. Want to move closer to family. Prefer to live in a certain area. Or may be because of commute time.

Or

Want a new career path.

Hint: Never say anything bad about the company that you are currently leaving or giving any negative reason why you would. When you speak negatively of your previous company, it gives you a negative image.

Some reasons could be you are switching fields... you wanted better hours... your current company does not provide benefits.
I mean, a basic honest answer is a good idea, whatever the answer is.
If you are actually leaving b/c you hate your boss, you should probably come up with something else though.
if you want to give more info about the true reason, you may get better feedback on this one..
good luck

I would be honest and say something to the extent of, "I want to leave my current position because I want to grow professionally and I feel that your company/business is the right one to help me do so." Employers love to hear that their business is highly regarded. Keep that in mind.

You can tell them that you are looking for a company with more growth potential. You can tell them that you feel you have learned all that they can teach you and are looking for position that can not only utilize your current skills give you new ones. Oh honey I could go on forever.

i try to be honest when asked that question and right now i'm unemployed. the last place i worked at, i hated the company and temporary people stole my credit card out of my wallet and used it 3 times. thats what i tell them. that is probably why i'm still unemployed, but oh well.

I have had that question asked to me and what you say is that you did not feel that, that your previous position or your previous company was not going in the same direction you were. or that you were not being used to your full potential
