My favirote team is obviously the Boston Red Sox!!I don't know how to explain it, but I have a passion for this team.I'm obessed with the team, the players, Fenway, everything.I die when the season ends and life gets a little better when it starts up again.I respect every player on that team,I think they have one hell of a GM, who puts his players and the orginzation before anything else, he does what he has to do to make it a better ball club, Terry is a God, and I love what he has done for this team. This is an amazing team, the best team on the planet!!I love this team when they are 35-52, and I love them when they are 52-33.I will be a Red Sox fan till the day I take my last breath.

Red Sox....they are the soul of Boston and everything that is great about our national past-time. You either get it or you don't. Jimmy Fallon's character Ben in "Fever Pitch" said it best when a reporter in Ft. Meyer's, FL asked him: "Where do the Sox rank in terms of importance in your life?"
"I say the Red Sox... sex... and breathing."

My answer is easily the Red Sox. The Red Sox have the best fans in baseball, and are in the best rivalry in baseball. They also have a very good team, have great team chemistry, and have one of the most historic ballparks in baseball history. Also, they're the underdogs to the yankees, and everyone always love an underdog team. o yea, my first game was at fenway, and its hard not to be a red sox fan when u grow up in mass.

I'm a Red Sox fan and I have been a fullfledged fan since I was 9...watching the Red Sox towards the end of the 86 season watching them clinch the division...I remember seeing Don Baylor get a game winning single to left at Fenway and I was hooked and never looked back...of course they broke every sox fan's heart that year in October, but they always give us something to look forward to each year and each year is as exciting as the previous season.

I love the New York Yankees.
Reason: When I was 5 years old and growing up in Long Island New York, my father ( big Yankee Fan ) took me to my first Yankee game at the Stadium... and I was hook... I have had a love affair with The Yankees ever since that day... and that was 21 years ago... plus, my father is the one that showed me everything about baseball... and I hope that is the reason everyone loves the team they do!!

I grew up in the Boston area and have been a lifelong Red Sox fan. Even through the bad years with Steve Avery as our ace, and the years before Clemens.

Philadelphia Phillies because:
I've lived most of my life in the Philadelphia area
I'm loyal to my teams (sometimes to the expense of my health and good judgment)
I'm a sports masochist...you have to be, to root for all the Philly teams
Also, I love to play and watch a ton of sports, but baseball has always been my favorite...I guess it's the sport I started playing at the earliest age, in the most different forms, and for the longest duration (now that I'm older, I still play in softball leagues)

Red sox for sure!
why?: they have THE best fans in baseball, (not like those bandwagon fans who jump ship when their team is doing bad) and how bout those players,(i mean big papi, whose better than him?) they always give us something to look foward to even if they lose, and yanks vs. sox is the best rivalry in all of baseball! when you go to fenway you are guaranteed a great game

I agree with everything you said except for one thing. I think Terry is a retard. Well maybe that is a little tough but oh well. You could have a little league coach coaching this team and he would make all the same decisions that Terry has. This team is filled with winners ,they all want it so bad that they can have a mediocre coach and still win.

I'm a Blue Jays fan too, the first game I ever saw was Blue Jays vs White Sox in Toronto, and since my mom is Canadian I just cheered for the Jays and it stuck.

The Detroit Tigers.
My dad, and his dad, and his dad were all fans.
My dad has told me stories about Al Kaline & Willie Horton and that great '68 team.
He took me to game 5 of the '84 world series (I was 7) and I have been hooked ever since.
