Work is work...you're there to work. It's called professionalism. At home and in other places keep it personal and don't discuss work.

You can make it a rule not to discuss work while at play and not to discuss play while at work. If you find that it impossible or incredibly hard to do then either ask for a transfer or get another job.

If your friend gets a big head about it attempt to talk to him. Don't let it get to the point where you explode and ruin a perfectly good relationship.

Do your job like you always have....You can still be friends after work.....If it becomes to much stress, Just try to find another job....I don't think i would like it....Good Luck

Treat him like the boss at work and like a friend after work. Don't abuse your friendship at work..... It can be tricky.
