This would be a really distinctive sound - but great...!!! I can just imagine it going off on a train or bus, in a theatre or an elevator... Everyone would look sideways at each other in suspicion, but probably wouldn't even make the connection that I'd just answered my mobile...!
I reckon it's high time the fart bacame a much more widespread mobile tone...! Think of the money it could make.

That would be funny!:) Try going to www.farts.com. I know that they have recordings of actual farts, so maybe you could burn one or something and put it on your cell phone.

They not only have many types of farts (long, short, ultra-disgusting) but also gas w/ sore stomach & burps. The sound of these made me really laugh! You will want to try these out not only for the reasons you've listed but also for the times when you actually have gas...you can always say, "oh, that wasn't me.. that was my CELL PHONE" :-)
