yes i got pregnant with my second child while on the pill. I had been on the pill for atleast 10 years with the exception of having my first child then along came my daughter a pill baby it does happen but chances are slim

I actually did get pregnant while on the pill for six months. dont know how it happened, i never missed one and BAM here i am seven months pregnant. its only 99.9% protective right so , i you have to really take that into consideration when you are having unprotected sex even when you are on the pill.

well this is not about me but one of my friends did get pregnant while she was on the pill because she missed taking one one day and 3 months later somehow she got knocked up

A friend of mine concieved while taking the pill. Apparently antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of the pill, and she was taking amoxicillin for bronchitis. She delivered her baby Wednesday. :)

Yes, My Mother did for my Brother, She never missed a pill and later found out the dose was to weak for her......She was 40 years old at the time......So that was her baby, We are happy we had a wonderful Brother but he was killed in a car accident 12 years ago at the age of 25.....He sure was one of a kind.....Super sweet guy.......Miss ya Troy.....Sis

Not me, but also a friend of mine. Antibiotics (especially strong ones) will counteract the contraceptive effect of the pill. However, your doctor should be aware of that and remind you to use a backup method if you need to take antibiotics.

i did because no one ever told me that you need to take the pill at the same time everyday.
my cousin got pg on the pill because she was on antibiotics and that negates the effectiveness of the pill

I personally didn't. But a friend of mine did conceive while she was taking the pill. It was probably because she hadn't been taking it properly, at the exact times she was supposed to. It is possible!

I got pregnant after missing one dosage, the patch doesn't work either, it just makes you violent.

my step mother and i were both on ortho tri-cyclen. we both were pretty religious about when we took it and completely trusted it's effectiveness. as a result, i have a little brother and a son that were completely unexpected.
