Says who? Marriages whether love or arranged start off differently but that doesn't mean love is not there in an arranged marriage. You can definitely find love in arranged marriages as well as find hell in love marriages. Remember that when you're in love, you only show and get to see the other person's best face. You can see some pleasant as well as unpleasant surprises everywhere after marriage.
I think that it all depends upon the people in the relationship and not in the kind of marriage.

there is no such golden rule. any marriage survives on love, trust,understanding and adjustment from both sides whether it is love or arranged.on the contrary arranged marriages have better chances cos the parents look for all other aspects with their level heads and without those rose tinted glasses.these aspects surface after the initial euphoria and the honeymoon period has finished and then the wisdom of the parents comes to light.

i cant say that love marriages are successful but i can say that those love marriages r successful which couples understand to each other , care for each other , and their love not for show they attached with hearts yes these love marriages r successful.
