what do you mean HOW is he. As all people replied he died in May 1964. He was an intellgient person and a freedom fighter who spent many years in jail for that. His father was Motilal Nehru who was an eminent lawyer and Jawaharlal Nehru took his Bar at Law degree from England. His daughter Indira Gandhi became the Prime Minister of India almost soon after (but for the short stint of Lal Bahadur Shastri) till she died on Oct 31, 1984 and his grandson Rajiv Gandhi was also Prime Minister of India till May 25, 1991.
