Most states usually require working papers for those under a certain age (14 or 15 I think), check with your city hall or local school as they should have the particulars. The hours are not only limited in the total quantity but also the hours each day. Most her age can't work past a certain hour of the day and if i remember correctly this rule is more strict during the school year.

where do you live? Every state is different. In California you can work when you are 16 years old. She needs more years. And schools don't like when you work to early. If I were you check with the school because schools some times have work programs. good luck.
