Family photo albums - I'm 100% sure on that one. If I couldn't get to all the albums, I'd go to the computer desk, which is right by our door, and grab the whole box of photo CDs, which would be easier to carry than a huge box of photo albums.

My big fat bum - dont want to be caught dead in a firey house trying to save nothing that can replace a life! Remember its time for only one thing, and one thing would mean me!
sorry I sound pretty insensitive - I've got all them cats and dogs and CDs and crap, but I lost most of them all plus my pics and certificates in a house fire last year, so I know what I'm talking about!

My photo albums! I have thought about this scenario on numerous occasions. Photographs denotes irreplacable memories of times, people, and places gone by. This is especially true of a deceased love one. Most other material possessions are easily replaced or duplicated.

Pictures are a good answer. I have so many though and in so many diff places around the house it would be hard to grab them all.
I would grab my yellow fuzzy blanket that my grandma made for me when I was 10.
I would hope that I have sent enough pics to enough family and friends that they would help to rebuild my photo collection with me. :)

I don't know if I'll think of something,I'll be probably panicking....but if a remember to take something that would be my cell phone so I can call somebody,I have all the numbers there,I don't know any number by heart, but I doubt that in situation like that I'll be thinking of what to take!

don't think i would waste the time, sounds to me like a good excuse to buy lots of new stuff. Personal possessions are few for me, but if i had to choose i guess it would be my scrapbook, has most of the things in it that i want to remember and cant be replaced.
