What do you think was the best and worst of the World Cup 2006?

Best:
-organizing committee


Worst:
-all the blatant diving and cheating going on
-the abysmal standard of refereeing
-thousands of tickets to corporate sponsors instead of fans
-level of football was disappointing
-Blatter the dirty crook still in charge

BEST:-
The whole organisatian was fab,stadium was good,crowd was brilliant at the finals, the final match was really interesting and lastly the victory celebrations were very good, ITALY played well in the final match

WORST:-
Worst part as u said was definately the cheating going on , red and yellow cards again and again, the players falling consistently and all this had started in the first
3 minutes of the final match , the level of football was not up to the mark.

The fans (even the English ones).
The set-up and organisation.
African countries (especially Ghana). They played football with passion.
Christian Ronaldo's face when he knew a dive wasn't getting a free-kick.



Worst:
Diving and oscar-nominated acting (way out in front).
Sportsmanship.
Refereeing (apart form the 2 Semi's and the Final).
British BBC and ITV Commentary ( I always switched to BBC R. 5 LIVE). They talk nonsense and make mistakes all the time.
Lack of ambition to score by some teams.
Penalty shoot-outs. Needs to be changed. Terrible way to win or lose.
Christian Ronaldo's face when he knew a dive was getting a free-kick.

Best- The amount of support the teams got and the fabulous teamwork by Germany...they proved that even if they have a young squad...they're still great.

Worst-The acting by the players...although it was interesting seeing them fight with the ref then get shown a yellow card...or red lol.
Another bad thing was Cristiano Ronaldo...lousy cheat.
And also Germany losing to Italy sucked....only one more minute and they were in penalty kicks...im sad. :-(

-the acting and melodrama was excessive
-the referees were AWFUL (Ghana and Australia were CLEARLY robbed of opportunities)
-and I felt that the general play was too defensive and careful
