Number one it isn't any of your business whether people masturbate or not.
Number two you talk about precious time and concentration. All time is precious thru life and concentration has to be used on anything if you want it accomplished correctly.
How much precious time and concentration did you waste submitting this question?

I'm the mother of 3 grown sons. Nope...I think it's God's Gift to be able to satisfy yourself when you don't have a partner. I think it saves alot of marriages, it saves alot of rapes, and it saves alot of time. How wonderful for God to give us this physical release and we should thank Him for it! AND I don't know why you only limited your answers to ages 15-35? You must think "old" people don't masturbate or have any desire? Sounds like you're having guilt problems. There's nothing wrong with masturbating..try it sometime...u sound tense..it'll release the pressure.....also masturbating is the ulternative to just going around and having sex with everybody its safe sex....cause u can't get pregnant from it..or std's.It would stop a lot of unwanted pregnancy's if more people would learn to do that!

Given that the option of abstinence seems laughable to most people with raging hormones, I believe masturbation is a safe and healthy alternative to unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. Assuming the argument is it's evil, it's still the lesser of two evils.
