I sorta don't have it yet but I just want to make sure, because i'm a hardcore (leave on the system overnight) 12 hours a day kinda gamer and I don't want it to fall apart 3 years after I bought it like my ps2 did.

The Xbox 360 takes 2 hours to cool down. Buy the intercooler it well cool off your system without using the the fan, it is made by Mad Catz and I tell you what You can play twice long without needing to stop playing in middle of a game to let it cool off. Intercooler, made by Mad Catz. Itz very cheap. Plus it addz the life of ur Xbox 360! Itz only $20.00

Certain xbox 360 overheat. Those must be exchanged. If after 30 minutes or 1 hour your screen dont freeze, it's not cold. You can continue without problem to use your x box 360. I propose you do not exceed 4 hours maximum. I suggest you to use ventilator adapted for your console.

Well, I accidently left my 360 on all day and it was alright when I came home. It still works perfectly even right now.

ive left my xbox on for days and it hasn't even crashed. ive had it since christmas and it still works perfectly. i don't know what everyone going on about. playstation was a terrible console, xbox will always last longer.

Make sure its not on a carpet and has plenty of airflow
