Where can I exchange British Pound Stirling for U S Dollars in Gaithersburg Maryland?

Most banks say they dont do it, and the one that does says I need to open an account!! is there anywhere i can just walk in and get Dollars for Pounds?

Check with a local travel agent. They should know where the closest currency exchange is located.
