Not only should you take your child out of the school, you should file as many complaints with as many regulatory agencies as you can find. I would also call the police and file a report. The school has a responsibility to keep your child safe. Who cares if they are on vacation? It is their job to address problems and since they are more interested in reminding you that they don't have time, it is your responsibility to make the police and Board of Education make sure they find the time.

Maybe you should have known first whose finger prints are those you found on your daughter's neck. Then you shouldn't have let the weekend to finish so that the teacher would have no reason not to entertain your complain. Not all of the incidents that happen on the school is the teachers fault . . . because think about it . . . there is only one teacher vs. heavy loads of students. As a mother and for all the mothers that think like it's always the teachers fault . . . maybe you should have tried first to be a teacher before blaming teachers for all the things. Actually I’m not a teacher but my mother is . . . there are some cases like that what you've said but as a result some of the reasons why the incident begun is also the students fault.
But in your case . . . you shouldn't have let the weekend past. Because even you . . . would you like to be disturbed when you’re with your family having a good time? But for that teacher she shouldn't have talked to you like that blaming you that you disturb their holiday. In that case maybe you need to ask first your daughter why and how did it started for a better confirmation.
Hope this helps you . . .

This is severe bullying and most schools nowadays have policies on how they handle it. I am so sorry this happened to your child! I remember getting slapped in Catholic school and the nuns called me a liar and I was tormented all year, so I know how she feels. I would go as high as possible with your complaint. Go to the Superintendent, maybe a Board meeting even. Embarrass the Principal and teacher, who cares about them at this point? I am a teacher and I would NEVER have handled a concerned parent that way. That is disgusting. You try to get a meeting with the other parents and the higher ups you can and resolve the issue before the bully hurts someone more seriously. That kid needs to be seen by a psychologist for anger management and socialization skills. Most schools offer this. Remember- there is going to be one of these brats in every school your child attends, so teach her how to handle it for the next time. I tell my own kids to scream, "Don't touch me again!" and then strike back. This way, you have made it known that you were acting in self defense and get in less trouble. I know fighting is wrong, but being bullied is worse. Good luck!

You take your child out of this school immediately! And then you contact a lawyer to sue the school.
It's important that this situation be corrected. You have already done all the things you should have, but the school has not responded. Obviously they need a stronger nudge to correct a dangerous situation, and a law suit will make them sit up and pay attention. You can protect your daughter by taking her out of the school, but that doesn't protect other children already in the school, or whose parents may be thinking of enrolling them, but are not aware of the danger to their child.
If the teacher had sexually molested your child, you would call the police. This teacher has assaulted your child and that is just as serious.
Hope this is helpful.

I'm not a teacher, but i think you're doing the right thing sending your child to another school. Those teachers didn't seem to care much about the children in their care. Your call was about a serious problem, even if they were in vacation they had to at least talk about it. What about that kid's parents? What do they have to say about this?

Firstly, I would never send my child to private schools. I support public education and when someone doesn't go to a school, then that school losses money they would have if the child went there. But that is beside the point.
What you need to do now is call the board of education and the superintendant. Take pictures of your child's neck so you have evidence. If you have a PTA, call them as well. Write a formal complaint to the school so it is on file and keep a copy for your records. Atleast one of those methods should work. If nothing else, call your local TV station. That'll get attention.

You have a right to be concerned....and u do have a right to call the teacher "on her vacation" if you have concerns. The teacher should be held responsible for the behavior of the kids in her class. Another option would be to call the child's mother and talk to her. She may scream at u too....but at least you could make ur voice be heard......Personally, I'd go to the principal and tell her I was pulling the child out of the school.....since it's private school and your paying, I think they'll shape up if they think they're gonna loose ur money......
Good luck!

sure! and that i'd bypass to the school board or board of training on your county or city to record them. also take pictures of your childs neck as glaring and record whenever you've contacted the instructor and imperative. one of those habit is unexceptable and no matter if its a visit or in the course of the week, they ought to have contacted you even as the incident occurred. in case you understand who the mother and dad of the youngster is i'd contact them and let them understand you may be filling a record with the police considering it truly is the 2d incident. we stay in a international the position kindergartners kill one yet another contained in the school room so I wouldnt take any possibilities with my childs safe practices. God Bless and good success that the challenge receives dealt with wisely.

You should have gotten a drs report IMMEDIATELY But you didn't. Since BOTH teacher & principle have brushed you off your next step is to take it up with the school board IMMEDIATELY & STAY PERSISTENT until it is settled. Also, CONTACT every parent in your child's class & inform them of this issue-THE SQUEEKY DOOR GETS THE OIL!!BTW just because private, doesn't mean you wont encounter dysfunctional, sick kids-I KNOW I taught in private & they were more OUT OF CONTROL than public-reflection of national family life crisis in our homes.
