A controversial move, I agree. But any publicity is good publicity.
You're going to get a few racially motivated answers though. I could give an example, but it would be wholly innappropriate.

In answer to the question, Yes: Alton Towers is within their rights as they have sold that day to a private organisation which will then sell the tickets for that particular day.
They say that everyone is welcome to come as long as they abide by the rules of the Muslim faith for that day. Ie no music or alchohol, segregation of Men and Women on rides. All women must be covered in the apropriate manner and also must be acompanied by an adult male member of their family. Personally I wouldn't want to go, so I won't.
It is in much the same way that Gaydar Travel have booked the site for the day and although everyone is welcome, you shouldn't really go if you are offended by the gay lifestyle.
When I first heard of this I was offended, but after reading up on it (not in the Sun though) they seem quite within their rights to do this.... So if you wanted to book the park yourself for the day you could, but what would make your day any different than any other day the park is open?

im sorry to tell u that people have tried to book this day for groups of non muslims and been refused ! i am disgusted with this and therefore would love to know if bnp or national front would b able to book the park on sept 11 or july 7 i would love to know tussauds response !!! i feel so upset about this ! taxi drivers in our town were told not to wear england shirts during world cup ! preston cancelled christmas carrols in the square for fear of offending other faiths and alton towers is allowed to do this !! can the government not see that these are just a few of the reasons there is so much race hate around. i dont know anybody that isnt offended by this and will be emailin tussauds as a note of complaint

I think you will find thta whatever religion you are you will be permitted entry , what Alton Towers will be doing is laying on special events for Muslims, if you want to join in these events you being a non muslim will also be very welcome.
I do see your point, if non muslim ppl were excluded entry this would be an outrage, but this is not the case.

Come on, no one would complain if the Scouts decided to book Alton Towers for the day and you had to be a Scout to get entry. Yes being a Moslem is very different from being a scout, but the basis is still there. I'm sure that if you can prove you are a member of the "group" then you will gain entry. Anyone who thinks it is racist needs a reality check.

Well Alton Towers is private property, so therefore they could choose to allow or refuse access to who ever they like. So they are well within their rights to do an all muslim day. But they should also be doing other days for other faiths/groups of people.

what if they had an ''all non-muslim day'' ??
it would never be accepted, and we would be labelled as being racists, why do they have to segregate any way ??
should we not all be mixing together as peacefull civil human beings regardless of religion and race and colour ?
there is enough hate and segregation in this world with out the ignorance of alton towers adding fuel to the fire with its nonsence, the head of alton towers wants its head checking, and this event should not be allowed, just as a ''non-muslim'' day would not be and should not be allowed !!!!!!

pass and talk over with the Citizen's suggestion Bureau. the area merchandising rules supply you a cooling off era wherein to cancel an e mail or internet order. the conventional era is 7 days yet to start this era working the business enterprise has to supply specific information approximately your order - in writing. in the event that they fail to attain this the cooling off era runs on for 3 months. when you consider that Alton Towers did no longer e mail you i think of you may desire to be waiting to cancel despite you or they think of you arranged and get a reimbursement - even nonetheless, in accordance to them, it grew to become into for final weekend. even with the incontrovertible fact that, when you consider that centers are in contact i'm no longer one hundred% advantageous of the regulation, it quite is why I recommend you attitude the CAB for education - or the figuring out to purchase and merchandising standards officer of your close by council.
