Coming from the United Kingdom:-
1. Yes, I would like to stop World War I: apart from all the millions of people who were killed then, and because of the consequences such as the rise of Hitler and Stalin, the United Kingdom has never recovered financially. Assuming you are not a pacifist - and simply not going to War in 1914 would have been quite a reasonable means of avoiding the First World War - the way to do this would have been to develop a large enough army to make a difference in a European War rather than rely on building a huge navy.
2. I would have changed Britain's colonial policy, not least in India, to actively develop the colonies with democratic institutions, rather than see them as resources for Britain to exploit.
3. I would have expanded higher education, in particular in technology. By 1906 Germany in particular had developed technological institutes whose standard and reputation compared with any university. Both Germany and the United States had many more universities than Britain, which was criipled by outdated teaching at Oxford and Cambridge. Lack of scientific research and tecnological investment was a major reason for the decline of the United KIngdon compared to other Western countries in the twentieth century.

Incidentally, 1906 was the year that the Liberal Party won a landslide victory in the United Kingdom. My second and third suggestions were consistent with their policies, but inadequate defence expenditure was a consequence of their government.

make my ancestors sleep with rich people so when i was eventually born i would be born into wealth, oh and id end the line of the family of the person responsible for the creation of nuclear weapons, oh and id take a playstaion 3, a 42 inch lcd tv, a microwave, a mobile phone, and lots of other technology to show how advanced we are, so when i get back to the future (excuse the pun) our technology would be greatly advanced or in a worse case senario the world would be destroyed by robots that have developed there own means of thinking and evolving.

Why would you want to do that? Are you not happy with your life as it is? I would not turn back time and change events as i would not be the person i am now! No point in regretting the past, look to the future

It was (among other things, probably) Tesla's 50th birthday. And it seems that it's in 1906 that Morgan decided to stop Tesla's research in Wardenclyffe tower because he was afraid that Tesla would come up with free energy that can't be billed... had Tesla continued his research, we might have had a completely different 20th century :)

Why would we want to do that? I don't get it?

You want too prevent the first world war? Is that it? You realise that the world wars have shaped our technological advancement over the last 90 odd years, don't you?

Without those wars we'd probably only have advanced to colour TV's last year.
