were you given the reason for the first miscarriage? Not to panic you - but could you have a weak cervix neck and you may need to been sewn up --- ask you obgyn about this.
If this is not the case then you should know that 1 in every 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage - the fact that you got pregnant so fast is a really good sign

Been there. I lost twins at 9 weeks, got pregnant within the month, and now have a 5 1/2 year old, strong as a bull, gorgeous, bright, little girl.
1 in 4 pregnancies statisticaaly ends in miscarriage. it sucks big time. nobody understands the pain unless she's been through it, and even then, we can only touch the surface of what you have experienced.
It is natural to feel scared and anxious right now.
If you can, go get your numbers checked to make sure that they are rising. Listen to your body. Wait it out, and you can do trhis. You are stronger than the fear, so conquer it head-on.
I am praying for you, and sending good thoughts your way.
Nobody can quarenttee any outcome, but I can say that you will rise above the pain and frustration if you let yourself.
This is such a scary time, but it will pass.
Good Luck with the new baby.
Maybe you should put yourself in the mind-set that you never lost a pregnancy. That this is the first time.??? A sort of "mind over matter"

Having one miscarriage dosen't increase your odds of having a repeat micarriage.
I too had a miscarriage and i an sorry for your loss. I can see why you are worried but you need to relax and think positive.
My mom had a miscarriage at 2 months and went on to have 3 more kids after that....
After a miscarriage, am I at risk for miscarrying again?
Miscarriage is usually a chance event, not a sign of an ongoing reproductive problem. If you have had one miscarriage, your chances for future successful pregnancies are good. Less than 1% of women have three or more miscarriages in a row (called recurrent miscarriages).8
If you have had three or more miscarriages, talk to your health professional about testing and treatment for a possible underlying cause.

I am so sorry for your loss. Many women miscarry and go on to have normal pregnancies. Even if a woman has had as many as 3 losses she still has about an 80% chance of carrying a baby to term. The chance of miscarriage greatly decreases after the first trimester. Just keep dr. appts, have an ultrasound early if they will permit it and keep your spirits up. Best of luck to you and your little one.

You need to stay calm and try not to worry. Every pregnancy is different, believe in this and hope for the best rather than dwelling on the worst. I miscarried and then six months later I was pregnant again and now I have a beautiful daughter.
Don't loose hope.

calm down and dont hurt yourself. take as good care as you can. dont take ANY risks if you really want this child. Eat only healthy, dont smoke (you shudnt do this at all anyways), try doing some of the pregnancy courses with yoga or wateva it is.
just foolow the 'guidelines' of pregnancy, and keep your baby out of risk.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Only time will tell. Be sure and take very good care of yourself. Get plenty of rest and do not over do it. If you are predisposed to miscarry, you must try your best not to become stressed.
I wish you luck.

well, if you are young like everybody else here, you have a great chance of losing your first baby. the chances are decreased this second time because your body is more suited now.
Good luck!
