I'd say you're Irish because you were born in Ireland. As for being happy that Italy won, I think most of the world is.Most people I talked to were pulling for them.

I'm Irish and I'm happy Italy won the world cup. They deserved to win it. Also it is a great feeling to see all those footballing "greats"(england ahem, ahem) going home with their tails between their legs.

Italy didn't deserve to win anything, I would love to shoot each player in the head with a sniper because they play dirty and if Zidane have had stayed they would have won most likely, but NO materazzi knew that if he pissed off Zidane enough he would get kicked and that would leave them for a penalty win! What a bunch of Bast*rds!

They deserved it. No doubt. The French were arrogant and careless in their football. But may I add a small foot-note here for 'A. Mann'. I am guessing you are one of those Americans who call their French Fries 'Freedom' Fries yeah? Wake up and smell the coffee mate. Just because France didn't support you in your illegal war (freedom of choice...democracy...remember that?) doesn't mean they are cowards. If you are going to ridicule a whole country do it for more mature and sensible reasons ok?

I'M AN IRISH - AMERICAN AND AM SO HAPPY THAT THE French LOST .THIS WILL PUT THEM DOWN A FEW NOTCHES , THEY THINK THEY ARE THE BEST AND PUT DOWN AMERICA AND OTHER COUNTRIES . THEY TREAT THEIR TOURIST LIKE UNWANTED STEP CHILDREN AND DESERVE TO LOSE A LOT MORE THAN THE WORLD CUP . THEY DESERVE TO LOSE ABOUT 75 % OF THEIR TOURIST MONEY.
