Only red, if you have bleeding in your lower Colon or Rectum! SEE a doctor if you ever see that!!!

Our bodies are the most complex chemical factories known to science, producing chemicals in varieties, and in purities, not seen in the best laboratories!

One really neat side note is that there has NEVER been a competent scientific test of any food, drug, or product, on any female human or animal because, in the control group, and in the test group, the female cycle of hormone production and the natural changes in the chemistry of the body that results, throws all test data into a spin! If anyone can get multi-colored stools, it would be the female of the species!

So, you see generic warnings about not taking something if pregnant, thinking it is possible to harm the fetus, when in fact, science doesn't know, and can't explain, the potential reactions or complex chemical transformations of that new food item, additive, food coloring, dye, or drug, in the female body!

Do remember that anything you touch, or apply to your skin, is transmitted very rapidly into the blood, transdermally! So, don't play with your excrement!

It contains very powerful biological and chemical factors that are good, when contained in the Colon, and very bad, when released elsewhere!

It's possible, but the color is set mostly by chemicals.

Green is the color of the mucus. Black/brown of dead red blood cells.

Depending on diet and conditions, there could be more or less of one or the other.

What you eat indeed affects the color of your excrement. I don't know about red licorice, but if you eat a lot of beets watch out! Same goes for eating a lot of lettuce and greens (greenish cast).

Yes. The food you eat can very well change the color. Some foods are not digested in the body like others are so that is a cause of the discoloration.

Blue food will generally result in green poo. Red only results in darker shades of brown. Red poo would be signs of a rather bad hemorrhoid.
