Of course eternity means forever, but in my own opinion I think that it's just an unrealistic word and thing because nothing in this world last forever.

Eternity is a concept which more or less applies to the physical universe. It doesn't really have any tangible meaning because there is no beginning and no end. We have been here as spiritual beings since before the beginning of time and will be here even after the end of time as we know it, so eternity really has no meaning as it applies to the spiritual universe.

Eternity is the great unknown.

What we think about eternity can determine how we behave today. If eternity matters how do we prepare for it and what will it be like?

Does it take more faith to say "that eternity does not matter or does not exist"?

My own experience is few moments, few glimpes of eternity. Meditation helped me get there.

Dont look for logical explanations.
Eternity can only be experienced. By you.

my opinion is that the mere fact we question it and attempt to fathom something so impossibly beyond our natural comprehension begs ourselves to reach past what we experience existentially into the divine or "greater" realm.

it's one of the greatest discoveries humanity has ever dreamed, pursued, and included in its dealings with the world we know.
