Feelings and thoughts are like people, if you don't entertain them, they will go away. It is important to express what you feel. The time to do that is when the feelings come up. Don't let them build up until they explode. Practice sharing what you are feeling as it happens. You will get better at it. Practice focusing on positve things if you are chronically feeling negative. Being negative can become a habit.

Most likely you have heard this before....
I'm telling you it works.
Why?Therapist as you know are ther to listen.The feild requires mastery of listening skills
When your going thruogh most people all they want is someone to listen think about it...
Letting it all out is the first step to healing yet it's the hardiest.
Therapists just ask questions for you to dig deep in yourself and when it's hard to express they teach you ways to cope.It's a good thing when you no longer have to use anger as a tool.That is the meaniest emotion when used the wrong way.I rather live my life without anger.

Change your perceptions.

You just have to sit down, figure out what exactly these negative feelings are, then find out why you believe them, and come up with a alternative that isn't negative... The alternative does not have to be positive, it can be neutral.

The glass is neither half full, nor half empty. It's a half a glass of water!!! It works for me!

yes i hide them, and hide them well.
my way of expressing them is by wraping up the negative feelings (go chilling out...music, dance, abit of alcohol and doing outdoor sports) and have fun. When having fun I don't think of negative feelings.
I don't share with close friends either cos' I don't want to drag down their day.

I vent them to friends first. However, much like an addiction, negative feelings have a tendency to want to consume my thoughts. I either have to face and fix what's causing the feeling or physically stop myself from thinking it by redirecting my thoughts elsewhere.

When somebody made me upset, I will try to understand that somebody to calm myself from getting mad at him/her... I'll send that person a letter containing what I have felt when he/she made me upset... I will also share them with my bestfriend, so that he will be able to give some of pieces of advices to help me cope those negative feelings...
