Sixers guard Allen Iverson the toughest. Those who have watched Iverson the last 9-10 years know that when it comes to toughness, nobody in the NBA has more than No. 3.
At 6-foot-0 and a generous 165 pounds, Iverson does not have nearly the size of Wallace, who is 6-foot-9 and 240 pounds, and Shaq, who is 7 and 300+pounds.
the list of Iverson’s injuries reads like a medical dictionary - Left knee synovitis, right elbow bursitis, left sacroiliac joint contusion, not to mention a long list of broken bones and contusions.
“In terms of coming back every day, getting up off the floor, to me he’s the toughest. "Pound-for-pound, he's the toughest"

1.Allen Iverson..he's always playing hurt and gets pushed around. he plays with broken fingers, toe's, hands, ankles, sickness, he's without question the toughest player....don't believe me, google allen iverson injuries......somewhere there will be a list of all his injuries he's ever played through and suffered.
2. Ben Wallace..one of the smallest centers, but can bench 460, can block a lot of shots
3. Dwayne Wade...he's real good a drawing fouls
4. Rasheed Wallace..he lead the league in tecnical fouls with 15 and he's not letting anyone by him.
5. Ron Artest...as u know, he won't back down from fights and he's mean on the court two..

1. Ben Wallace..come on, it's Ben Wallace. He puts his body on the line every time he jumps up there to block or rebound. He's gotta be tough to beat out all those guys.
2. Shaq...300+ pounds, 7'1". That's a huge tough size.
3. Tayshawn Prince...One of the best defensive players in the game.
4. Lebron James...We all know he's good has guts. But, this guy can surely take a beating. Players try to foul him and throw him off his game. He's gotta be tough to not falter. Aside from being a huge basketball star, he's a former All-State Football Player, another attribute to his toughness.
5. Rasheed Wallace...He's about a few steps up from a street fighter on the streets of detroit, and many fear him.

How come no one has mentioned Udonis Haslem? He showed amazing toughness throughout the playoffs. Of course I'd have to go with AI as #1 though. He's taken the most beatings per pound than anyone in the NBA
