These people used me only to get a large amount of money from me on a loan. I have a promise to pay in writing. Now that I loaned the cash they refuse to pay the cash back now. Does anyone know of a legal remedy such as a judgement on a person or putting a lien on the vehicle they own? Please advise need info asap. Thank you

This has happned to me before. Since I did not own a business I could not do a lien. Instead I called the local authorities and they said it was theft. I did have the officer take a report, he did speak to the women and she still refused to pay. The officer did arrest her for theft. I had to pay a portion of the court costs, but in the end she went to jail for 2 years. Sad thing is I have never seen my money. But some people get scared in front of the judge and so they pay. Maybe in that regard you will have more luck then me. But I would start with the police, and since each law is different depending on the state you live in, you may have to do it different from how I did. Good Luck.

each and every new purchase is a sparkling loan, with each and each and every of the options open to the lender. in case your credit status has gone down, dramatically, because you first were given the non-public loan, then you definitely would not have the ability to get a sparkling loan and/or the prices of interest they (or the different lender) would quote you'd be lots more advantageous. authentic regulation seems to omit the point that although you would get the money - extra probably, almost each and each and every of the contract will bypass to the holder of the interest, now to not you - you would nonetheless have the finest debt on the non-public loan. If what you get from the coverage employer pays more advantageous than what you owe, you may want to observe the version on a change vehicle, or as a down fee on a sparkling loan for a replacemeent. yet you won't be able to have both the money and a paid-off loan.

You can try to sue them in court; however, a judgment does not guarantee you will get paid. As you have learned, it is practically impossible to get our family and friends to uphold their end of an obligation after the fact. A good policy to have is to not loan money you can't afford to lose. If you get it back, great. If not, you aren't strapped. Good luck with your situation.
